Wall Panel Installation & Lighting Upgrades
Selecting the perfect lighting for your home involves more than just picking out fixtures. It's about creating an atmosphere that reflects your personality and meets your functional needs. Our stone wall panel lighting is particularly effective in adding texture and color to spaces, making them ideal for accent walls in living rooms, hallways, or even bedrooms.
Before you choose your lighting, consider the purpose of each room. For example, a cozy living room might benefit from soft, warm lighting that invites relaxation, while a kitchen may require brighter, cooler lights to enhance visibility during cooking. Stone wall panels can be tailored to fit both scenarios, offering versatility in design and function.
It's also important to consider the color temperature of your lighting. Warmer tones (around 2700K-3000K) evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, suitable for living areas, while cooler tones (4000K-6500K) are often used in workspaces for their energizing effects. Stone wall panels can accommodate either spectrum, enhancing the overall ambiance of your home.
LED Lighting Upgrade: We offer a state of the art LED lighting upgrade which includes a wireless remote control that lets the user change the temperature of the light from (2700k warm - 6500k cool.) This lighting upgrade has dimmability and is rated at CRI+90 which means it is very close to the quality of natural light.
Our current wall panels feature standard lighting, set at a fixed 6500k cool white tone and lack dimmability. If you wish to upgrade the lighting, kindly contact us at Vilonaonyx@gmail.com, and we will gladly customize your order accordingly. Two wall panels featuring this state-of-the-art upgrade are priced at $450.00 as an additional cost. 1 Onyx or Fluorite tower above 45" tall costs $250.00.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Putting up our stone wall panels might feel a bit intimidating, but armed with the right tools and know-how, it can turn into a fun DIY venture. Here's a simple guide to kick things off:
Included in the installation kit accompanying your wall panel order are 2 wooden French cleats for wall attachment, along with 20 metal butterflies and 8 metal anchor screws measuring 5 inches each. Our wall panels range from 75-110 (LB) pounds, varying by size. Our hanging method is robust, reflecting our commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Gather Your Tools and Materials: Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary tools at hand, including a drill, level, measuring tape, and safety gear like gloves and goggles. You'll also need the stone panels, and of course, the mounting hardware.
Plan Your Layout: Measure the wall space where you intend to install the panels. Mark the placement for each panel with a pencil or blue painter's tape, ensuring they are evenly spaced and properly aligned or touching to create a stunning butterfly effect.
Lighting Check: Before installing, connect the panels to check if the lighting is operational. If any light strip is not functioning, verify that the switch is switched to the on position within the panel (refer to the image below for the location of the switch).
Electrical: It is recommended to enlist the services of an electrician for the installation of an outlet behind each stone panel so there are no dangling cords. All of our wall panels are plug and play, which means they connect straight to an outlet for power. There is 4-inches of clearance behind each panel, allowing ample space for adding the outlet.
Final Touches: Test the lighting to ensure it’s working correctly, and make any necessary adjustments to the stock lights.

Maintenance Tips for Longevity
To keep your stone wall panel lighting looking its best, maintenance every 3-6 months is key. Here are some tips to ensure longevity of its luster & shine.
Regular Cleaning: Dust and dirt can accumulate on both the panels. Use a soft, damp cloth (preferably a microfiber cloth) to gently clean the surfaces, avoiding harsh chemicals that could damage the stone like vinegar. We use water and Windex here at Vilona.
